Autumn Touring Announced

Following the impressive critical reaction to the Netherlands duo show tour last year, JO HARMAN has announced that she will be playing an Autumn duo tour shows in the UK at selected venues.

These very special, intimate, shows will feature not only ‘bare-to-the-bone’ versions of Jo’s own songs but also her own take on songs that mean something special to her.

The tour will be divided into two segments as follows

The SEPTEMBER shows will be with the ‘Found A Place’ section of the tour, where Jo will perform with renowned pianist MARK EDWARDS (Katie Melua, Daryl Hall, Aztec Camera, etc) who features heavily as both pianist and string arranger on Jo’s most recent recording, the limited edition ‘Found A Place’ EP, available only as a physical CD release (with bonus live CD) at shows and from Jo’s website shop (i.e. this recording is not available digitally). Jo’s OCTOBER duo shows become the “Back Together For The First Time! Tour” featuring multi instrumentalist and vocalist MI’DAS (Mike Davies). Those who have followed Jo’s career from the earliest days will know Mike produced (and co-wrote several songs on) Jo’s first album ‘Dirt On My Tongue’, as well as co-writing several tunes on her new, yet to be released, album recorded in Nashville. Mike has gone on to be a much in-demand touring guitarist for many major label acts, James Morrison, Jamie Cullum, Leona Lewis included, as well as becoming an artist in his own right, with the recent release of his debut album ‘Inside My Head’. So, despite their long standing relationship, this is their first ever time Jo and Mike have toured together as artists in their own right, and Mike will be performing a short solo set before joining Jo on both keys and guitar (but probably not at the same time!) and second vocals. The October dates confirmed so far include (again full band shows denoted by asterisk*)..
